The National Forest Service is doing controlled burns north and east of the Verde Valley. Smoke comes down off of the Mogollon Rim at night and makes its way into the valley. As the day progresses, the winds shift from out of the NE to out of the SW, which pushes the smoke back up onto the Rim.
Got an hour in the 110 this morning and here are some pics of the smoke.
