08-01-2023 Nice Summer Morning

Good monsoon storms the last couple of afternoons helped to clear out the air.  It was 65 degrees at takeoff and calm.  Perfect summer flying.

Morton Lester and Clipwing N110SP

 Morton Lester, of Martinsville, VA, remodeled a longwing 110 to a clipwing 110 Special, N110SP.  I met Morton at an EAA meeting in Roanoke, VA in 1978.
