Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Bungee Cords

Bungee cord in Monocoupe 110

The Model 90's, 110's and 110 Specials all use shock cord (bungee cord) on the landing gear.  I put together a page dedicated to all things bungee cord.  Here is a link to the bungee cord page.  There is also a link on the right hand side of this page.

The page includes what shock cord to use, where to buy it, how to tension it, various approaches for installation and a link to a photo gallery with over 20 pictures of bungees on all models of Monocoupes.

Density Altitude 7800'

It has been very hot lately.  Yesterday afternoon the outside thermometer was showing 106 degrees and 1% humidity.  Got a short ride in the 110 this morning.  Nice and calm but too warm.  Even though the density altitude was 7800', the Monocoupe climbs out at 750 to 1000 feet per minute.
