John McCulloch and the Rebuild of Monocoupe 110 Special N36Y

When John McCulloch purchased clipwing N36Y, it was in need of a complete rebuild.  Here is an article, written by Jack Cox, about the rebuild of N36Y.

After the restoration, John wrote an article for the Monocoupe Club Newsletter about his first flight in N36Y.  I recreated the article along with some pictures and it is available here as a PDF file.

Here is a picture that I took of N36Y in the late 1970's at Winchester, VA.

John donated N36Y to the National Air and Space Museum where is is on display today.  Click on any picture to launch the photo browser.
