About

The Restoration

This website documents the restoration of NC12350, a 1932 Monocoupe 110.  The aircraft was damaged in an accident in 1968 and was passed through several owners as a complete rebuild project.  I purchased the project in 2000.
The pages on the right hand side of the website are links to different stages of the restoration, including building a new 32 foot one piece wing, rebuilding the landing gear and installing Cleveland wheels and brakes.
Fabrication of all of the wood work attached to the fuselage is included and well as the fabric covering stages.
The original Warner 125 hp 7-cylinder motor was replaced by a Warner 145 hp motor and an Aeromatic propeller was installed.

The Blog

The posts on the left hand side are blog posts about Monocoupe history and activities of current Monocoupe owners and their aircraft.  There are seven blog posts per screen page.  At the bottom of the page there is a link to "Older Posts" which will navigate you to the next seven previous blog posts, and so on.
