Calm winds and temps in the 60's gave a beautiful ride this morning. Winds have been picking up out of the east pretty early in the day. Although it was relatively calm on the ground I estimate this morning the winds were about 30 knots from the southeast at 3000' AGL during the flight. (click on any image to launch the photo browser)

That's probably going to the last flight for a month or so. Sedona airport is undergoing a major reconstruction project for the only taxiway and the runway. Starting next week, the runway is expected to be closed for two weeks. At present, long taxi back on the active runway is required due to 1/3 of the taxiway being closed.
