Monocoupe Wing Building

In the 1990's, when Bob Coolbaugh was running the Monocoupe Club, he wrote a series of articles for the Club Newsletter about aircraft woodworking and building up a Monocoupe wing.  There were probably 8 articles written over the course of a year and a half.  I have collected those articles into a single PDF file and uploaded it here.

This is a must read for anyone contemplating building a Monocoupe wing.

I have also uploaded a photo album of a 110 Special wing (clipwing) under construction.  Here are some sample pics.

NC18642 Monocoupe 110

NC18642 originated as a Monocoupe 110 longwing and was restored and clipped by Don Schmidt in the 1990's.

Sedona Airport From The East

My friend and neighbor, Ted Grussing, took this photo from his motor glider.  This gives an excellent view of Sedona Airport from the east.  Click on the image for a larger version.

NC52271 Looking For A New Caretaker

Richard Smith is looking for the right person to take care of NC52271, a 1945 Model 90AF converted to a Lycoming O-320.  Richard has owned many Monocoupes and always takes very good care of them.

NC11760 Has A New Owner!

Richard Davis has acquired NC11760, a 1934 Monocoupe 90A with a Lycoming O-290.  Based in Texas.
